About Us
Our Story
Our family has been raising sheep within the state of California since 1856. For six generations, we have worked in harmony with nature to produce exceptional grass-fed, open-range lamb and some of the finest natural fibers for hand spinners, weavers, and fiber artists.
Our sheep roam freely across high desert sage, lush meadows, and pine forests, nourished by the native grasses and fresh alpine waters of the Sierra Nevada. Protected by our loyal Maremma guardian dogs, they live as nature intended — free, healthy, and cared for with love.
At the heart of our ranch is a commitment to preserving the land for future generations. We believe that if we care for the earth, it will care for us. Our farm is proudly off-grid, powered by solar energy and sustained by the artesian spring that feeds our pastures and ponds.
The wool from our sheep is a true labor of love. Using traditional methods, we create high-quality natural-colored fibers without the use of harsh chemicals. Every fleece is handled with care, transformed into beautiful handspun yarns, hand-felted dryer balls, and luxurious handmade blankets, and full pelts that celebrate the spirit of our land and animals.
Today, we continue our family tradition by handcrafting wool goods and nurturing the flock with the same dedication passed down through generations. Every product we offer is a piece of our home — a testament to resilience, stewardship, and the timeless beauty of a life lived close to the land.
We invite you to experience the heritage and heart woven into every fiber.
